Increasing access to education and capacity development opportunities
Developing growth opportunities for young men and women through workshops, trainings and communications
Establishing youth networks and youth centers across regions

The Green Organization (TGO) is an independent not-for-profit organization founded and led by youth in Afghanistan. Since 2014, TGO has been working side-by-side with young women and men to promote access to learning opportunities, achieve gender equality and empower marginalized people in their society. We partner with both local and international organizations, education centers and research institutions to engage youth in sociocultural and economic development efforts. Together, we help develop conditions for the most vulnerable groups in local communities and help them use their own power and abilities to move forward.

TGO supports youth in four broad areas including quality education and capacity development, gender equality, good health and well-being and peaceful societies in Afghanistan. In recent activities, for example, we conducted a project to transform knowledge and peace building skills to dozens of Afghan  youth and connected hundreds of others to a broader international  community via online conferences.

Together, we help develop conditions for the marginalized and vulnerable individuals across regions. We help them use their own power and abilities to move forward. This brings us to engage in the provision of public welfare services and help the people who are affected by social, economic and environmental disasters for several decades.
